By the time my oldest child was kindergarten age, I realized that I needed to start looking for the right school for her. I wanted to find a place that would cater to her needs, but I also needed somewhere that would challenge her. She was extremely bright, so I needed a place that offered an advanced curriculum for kids. It was a really difficult decision, but I decided to enroll her in a local charter school.
